Portable versions, including 3DS, will follow at a later date. Beckers, rejoice, as the Kickstarter smash Mighty No. 9 finally has a release date, and though it may be outside of the initial window, the delay brings some promising additions.

Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man and head of comcept, the studio in charge of Mighty No. 9 has announced that the game will launch on September 15 in North America and September 18 worldwide. When it does so, it will be with new partners Deep Silver (the people behind the Saints Row series) at its side.
